"An orgy of horror, comedy, blood and fun that can't be missed".This is the description of this year's Fantasy and Horror-Film Marathon in Sants, Hostafrancs and La Bordeta.

For one week, from 16 to 21 November, the Cotxeres Civic Centre in Sants (Sants, 79-81) will be playing host once more to a veritable horror-film festival, arranged in two big sections.

The first section will show screenings of the Marathon competition's short-film entries (each year it receives more than one hundred such entries from throughout Spain), during which audience members will be entitled to vote for their favourite, with the winning entry receiving a general-public award.

The second section, the grand night of the film marathon, which will take place on Saturday 21 November following a guided tour of some of the most mysterious places in Sants, Hostafrancs and La Bordeta.

Over twelve hours of film on two separate screens in a highly festive atmosphere.

Don't expect anything conventional about the film sessions.Audiences from the public will be turning up for the event, keen to enjoy themselves and well versed in shouting, applauding, whistling and cheering during screenings in the large hall, which has a seating capacity for over 800 people.

The film titles to be shown this year include The Unborn, Drag Me to Hell, and a remake of Friday the 13th.

The smaller cinema will show a selection of rarer, harder-to-find films.All in all, the Marathon promises to be a unique, tantalising and unrepeatable experience.
